    Our Approach to Growing Junior Golf

    WHY Golf in Schools?  We believe that the growth, development, and sustainability 

    of the game is what drives the WHY of our #IMPACT2022 "Golf in Schools" Initiative. As a business or individual supporter of the initiative, you are able get a 100% tax deduction on your investment in junior golf in our communities. You can also select the elementary or middle school of your choice to receive all the SNAG equipment and training for the physical education teachers that is required to add golf as a curriculum to the school. If you are interested please reach out to us and help grow the game, develop the next generation of golf, and drive and promote sustainability of the game for future generations.

    North Alabama Leadership, Education. and Development Cohort

    Our LEAD Cohort Program will be for dedicated to enhancing our 9th to 12th grade junior participants by teaching the importance of Servant Leadership through education and development programs. Our goal of the Cohort program is to help develop positive role models for our communities and the communities they choose after graduation. We feel this will help our participants to become great leaders at colleges, universities, and communities all over.

    LPGA*USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf) is the only national junior golf program that specializes in providing girl-friendly environments for juniors to learn the game of golf. We’re the experts in making the game of golf fun, and we teach more than just stance and swing; we teach girls valuable life skills like confidence and perseverance.

    Each of our 500 Girls Golf sites help prepare girls ages 6 – 17 for a lifetime of enjoyment of the game while also inspiring them to feel confident, build positive self-esteem and live active and healthy lives through The Five E’s of Girls Golf.

    and Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)

    The Latest ADM Junior Golf Information from the NAJGA

    By 2024 The United States Olympic Committee will mandate every sport to have and ADM Model, The PGA of America is already 2 years ahead of the game.

    Why ADM?

    The visual model illustrates age-appropriate expectations and concepts for each stage of development. By using the ADM, sports clubs, coaches and parents can help maximize potential for America’s youth to improve the health and well-being for future generations in the United States.

     

    ADM aims to maximize each athletes potential by developing principles that create life-long golfers and athletes for generations. Golf Coaches create positive experiences early, for all athletes, keeping more players engaged and retained in the sport. The program introduces the right aspects of play during Junior Golf in a structure that is fun, engaging, and progressively challenging, leading golfers through the stages of ADM before entering into higher levels of coaching and structured golf lessons.

     

    ADM and LTAD offer 7 Levels of Development for All Ages and Playing Abilities.

    1. Active Start – 5 and 6 Year Old's
    2. Fundamental's – 6-8 Girls and 6-9 Boys
    3. Learn to Play – 9-12 Year Old's
    4. Play to Improve – 11-16 Year Old's
    5. Play to Compete – 16-23 Girls and 15-21 Boys
    6. Play to Win – 18 Women and 19 Men
    7. Play Golf for Life –

    Official Tour of the NAJGA

    Team Competition

    The North Alabama Junior Golf Tour (NAJGT) will be for the Boys and Girls aged 9-17.

    The NAJGT will help develop student athletes and better prepare them for high school team-based competition. Our tour will be unique and like no other junior tour out there. We will include several match-play events into our schedule to give our juniors a fun variety of different formats. "Build Your Team, Bring Your Game"
